There are ten major hospitals in the Fort Buchanan area which offer a wide range of services from abuse counseling and treatment to nuclear medicine. Most of them accept TRICARE and other major health insurance programs. The Health Clinic is also available and offers services for Active Duty and Warriors in Transition. The dental clinic is reserved for active duty only soldiers, and the TRICARE Family Member Dental Plan is accepted for eligible spouses and children.
